Your tasks

• Performs the accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities for the organization.
• Provides direction to the accounting personnel on the correct procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls.
• Partner cross-functionality with departments to resolve processes affecting accounting and financial matters.
• Review business unit product line and overhead for variances and provides necessary supporting documentation and justification.
• Coordinate and participate in year-end external audit, and issuance of the year-end financial report.
• Establish relationships and liaison with outside accountants, tax agents, finance companies, and bank officers.
• Review accounts payable checks for compliance and sign checks.
• Prepare reports which summarize the company’s business activity and financial position as required by management or regulatory agencies.
• Complete additional responsibilities as requested by the VP, Finance & IT.
• Provide backup assistance for payroll approval
