Your Team
What we are looking for
  • Assure overall IT license compliance, incl. governance guidelines, audit responsibility, risk management
  • Strategic license management (market monitoring in terms of alternative software solutions; monitoring license demand and requirements in order to deploy an Uniper specific license strategy)
  • Develop and maintain strategic and commercial principles to ensure successful and sustainable partnerships in an competing environment
  • Ensure an optimum configuration of license and software maintenance contracts (in terms of cost, quality, standards, consolidation) and control the availability of an adequate number of licenses pursuant to legal and functional requirements in close cooperation with the suppliers
  • Monitor license consumption and usage within Uniper (in close cooperation with suppliers) to ensure the effective utilization of existing licenses (e.g. control of unused licenses and transfer of licenses to carve-out units, check against demand)
  • Develop negotiation strategies and tactics, negotiate contracts or support contract negotiations with the business need in mind in close collaboration with procurement
  • Support license transfers and process implementation in case of integrations or carve-outs of Uniper companies
  • Plan and manage software demand and budget for the Uniper group in close collaboration with LoB IT (incl. back-charging & controlling)
  • Assume responsibility to establish and keep up processes and tools (steering and in close cooperation with service providers) ensuring an efficient, compliant and reliable inventory of technical asset data (entry, update, modification)
  • Monitor and steer suppliers to maintain technical asset management systems
  • Ensure interface to IT Management’s commercial asset management system and procurement system and establish contract archive related to Uniper owned asset
  • Manage and support audit activities within the IT organization and regarding the relevant services, incl. maintenance of the “Policy and Procedures Manual” for audit services between Uniper Corporate Audit and Suppliers
  • Create, update and progress process roadmaps for relevant license processes, own and progress service improvement plans, best practice and lessons learned
Who we are seeking
  • University degree or Master in Information Technology, Business Administration, Law, Finance or adequate professional qualification
  • At least 5 years of IT experience with a strong commercial and license management background
  • Profound knowledge in IT-Services, Commercials and Legal Regulations, especially in the relevant area of license management and software services
  • Highly-developed and proven know-how in translating service requests into license contractual language as well as formal and accurate contract monitoring
  • Proven knowledge and experience in data inventory management in large environments
  • Proven experience in planning and leading major programs (10+ m€)
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in intercultural communication and international management
  • Proven experience in customer facing roles and senior business stakeholder management
  • Proven negotiation skills with suppliers
  • Clear attitude of entrepreneurship, always seeking for new opportunities to add value by IT
  • Excellent language skills in English and German
  • Able to work to a tight schedule
  • Strong market orientation, combined with profound understanding of energy business
  • Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders, customers, colleagues and suppliers
