Your Team
What we are looking for
This role will see you working in our Nottingham office and at power generation sites around the country. You’ll also work at other energy production and transmission facilities in the Uniper Group, our joint ventures and in external global markets. Working in the Electrical Engineering Division, you’ll help develop our business in existing and new markets. You’ll assist your team not just with maintaining the safety and reliability of existing assets, but also in the design, construction and commissioning of new projects.In return, you’ll get invaluable technical development opportunities, not just on the job, but also through external training courses. There will also be the chance to learn from other teams (for example, Mechanical and Process Engineering, Technology and Innovation Development and Project Management). There will even be the opportunity to present at seminars and conferences.
Who we are seeking
- You should have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering to join us.
- You’ll also need to be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces. Beyond that;
- Excellent attention to detail is critical for evaluating designs and concepts, developing technical solutions and producing reports and recommendations.
- You will also need an investigative mindset to help you evaluate assets, identify non-conformance and resolve the issues you uncover.
