Your Team
What we are looking for
  • Responsible for performing detailed analysis for sharpening scenarios/pattern recognition techniques in the area of Trade surveillance (Market Manipulation, Insider Trading, Internal Fraud patterns)
  • Responsible for identification and development of solutions which support our Trade Surveillance Team
  • Develop, maintain and enhance existing data models (SQL, VBA, TALEND, …) and surveillance analytical platform
  • Analyses data quality for data delivery process for Compliance reports and pro-actively initiates improvements
  • Support the technical implementation (SQL, Java, Python/R ) of smaller project initiatives or BAUs in the area of Compliance & Regulatory reporting
  • Implementation of adhoc reports via data lake for specific analysis in context of compliance
  • Create opportunities and contribute to the development of ML/AI tools.
  • Opportunity to work in a multinational team, being in contact with various departments across Uniper
Who we are seeking
  • Very good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
  • Expertise in Data Integration, ideally using Talend
  • Experience with data visualisation tools, Tableau etc
  • Good scripting and programming skills Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java is an asset
  • Expertise in machine-learning, operations research and Applied Statistics techniques
  • Knowledge of Spark, Databricks and Snowflake is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Utilities and Trade surveillance is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to present complex matters in a clear and comprehensive way
  • Strong individual initiative, high level of commitment and motivation
  • Experience in Project Work (Delivery, Management, Pro Active, Self-Motivated)
  • Experience in Energy Trading Systems and related data flows is an advantage
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), German language skills would be advantageous

Your Team
