IT Windows System Engineer, Pune
Are you a proactive, service-oriented personality with a passion to tackle your tasks? In this challenging and very diversified function, you take responsibility for the following activities.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Building, configuring, operation and maintenance of Windows Servers
- Administration & troubleshooting of operating systems, applications and tools
- Build, enhance and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive tasks
- Deployment or Installation of Patches and Updates
- VMWare/VSphere Operation
- First Level support for IT Server Infrastructure
- Monitoring IT Systems (MS Server, Storage, ….)
- Ensuring that computer systems and operating systems are compliant with established configuration and security guidelines
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/BCA degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related Engineering field
- At least five years professional IT experience
- Very good knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows
- Strong experience in Windows server and virtualization technologies especially VMWare/VSphere
- Good Knowledge of Azure Cloud
- Solid understanding of patch management best practices
- Good knowledge of Windows scripting (PowerShell)
- Understanding Networking Fundamentals; TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and firewalls for secure connectivity
- Strong Knowledge of File Server, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Very good oral and written English skills
- Strong communication skills in an international environment
