Engineer - Spare Parts Planning

Are you a proactive, service-oriented personality with a passion to tackle your tasks? In this challenging and very diversified function, you take responsibility for the Spare Parts Planner and ensure the following activities.

The Position

  • Global Planning responsibility for spare parts
  • Demand Planning: support forecasting process and review demand planning alerts. Enrich Forecast based on strategy developed together with Product Management and Sales.
  • Inventory Planning: support target settings, including reviewing inventory alerts. Aim for an optimal usage of stock through redeployment activities.
  • Substitution planning: align Phase-out / In of replaced materials, and actively participate in the clean-up of misaligned substitutions.
  • Continuous improvement of planning processes, master data and tools.

You bring that with You

  • 4-7 years of professional Spare Parts experience, within the supply chain and planning. Spinning Textile Spare Parts experience is added advantage. SAP and very good MS Excel knowledge is mandatory. A university degree with technical background is desirable. English proficiency, analytical thinking, credibility, effective communication, and a strong team spirit are required.
