Inventory Management Specialist (Asst. Mgr)

Are you a proactive, service-oriented personality with a passion to tackle your tasks? In this challenging and very diversified function, you take responsibility for the XXXXX and ensure the following activities.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analyzing Inventory Needs: Evaluate inventory requirements to develop strategies for purchasing items that meet production demands effectively.
  • Replenishment Planning & Coordination: Work closely with Buyers to ensure seamless management of the ordering process, facilitating timely replenishment.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions to the production schedule.
  • Inventory Analysis: Monitor inventory levels, preventing both stockouts and overstock situations through continuous analysis.
  • Collaborative Planning: Develop inventory plans in coordination with planning, stores, and supply chain teams to optimize production flow.
  • Setting Inventory Parameters: Establish inventory parameters and targets, ensuring appropriate replenishment levels.
  • MRP Exception Management: Monitor Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, promptly addressing exceptions and errors to maintain accuracy.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure MRP system data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Inventory Audits: Support various inventory counting activities including cycle counting, PIcounting, and year-end inventory audits.
  • Excess Inventory Management: Analyze and address excess and obsolete/aging inventory, collaborating with cross-functional teams for optimization.
  • Inventory Performance Improvement: Develop and execute plans to reduce slow-moving inventories and enhance inventory turnover rates

Your Profile

  • Desired Qualification :BE, Any Specialization; Diploma - Materials Management
  • Desired Experience in Years : 10-12 Years
  • Preferred hands on experience: Inventory Management, Demand Planning & Material Planning role.
  • Good Understanding of Warehouse Management practices and processes, Advance Analytics, preferably in a manufacturing environment, Significant experience in dealing with Purchasing. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams,
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams
