Regional Sales Manager South East Asia

Are you a proactive, service-oriented personality with a passion to tackle your tasks? In this challenging and very diversified function, you take responsibility for the Global RAS Sales and ensure the following activities.

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • A global role Responsible for leading, motivating and supervising more than 10 agent sales teams as well as 7 direct report located in different countries in Europe and India.
  • Manage agent structure to penetrate all targeted accounts and originate sales opportunities for Rieter After Sales product portfolio and services.
  • In close collaboration with the agency sales teams, develop After Sales market growth plan for South East Asia and convert in Sales Actions.
  • Support the SVP Sales in further developing and implementing the mid-term strategic plan for Rieter After Sales
  • Suggest possible new products and contribute to market prices in close collaboration with internal center of expertise (Engineered Solutions, Parts, Pricing).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major commercial contracts.
  • Ensure best possible service to the customer acting proactively as an interface between the customer, agents and internal support teams (Service , Supply Chain, Backoffice and Product Management)
  • Tracking and monitoring of Sales KPI’s and ensure regular update to Senior Management
  • Act as first level Sales Support for the agency sales team
  • Close interaction with internal support teams (Services, Supply Chain, Backoffice and Product Management) to ensure excellent product- and service delivery towards customer.
  • Management of cross-functional commercial projects as assigned

You bring that with You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering
  • 6+ years Sales experience in the Textile machinery industry
  • 5+ years of Leadership Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in After Sales Services
  • Passion for the textile technology and strong technical understanding
  • Experienced in Value Based Selling methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ideally in addition to one national language of an South East Asian country.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Highly customer and service orientated.
  • Strong intercultural competence.
  • International experience.
  • Accountability, resilience and self-starter mentality.
