Your tasks

Tasks
  • Operate and maintain melting furnaces, perform material testing, include spark testing of material samples.
  • Transport and pour molten aluminum into the dosing furnace.
  • Adjust operational parameters within set tolerances and suggest permanent improvements.
  • Keep and compile logs and reports, such as melting reports, furnace downtime and quality issues.
  • Perform maintenance on melting furnaces and other equipment and repair transport crucibles.
  • Document measures taken for troubleshooting and error correction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your profile

Profile
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift license / Crane operator license desired.
  • Proven experience in operating melting furnaces and handling molten metals.
  • Experience in material testing and quality control.
