Financial Analyst - Sales Operations

We are looking for a financial analyst to support our Sales Operations to

The Financial Analyst is responsible for processing customer pricing and contract workflows, running profitability modeling for custom pricing requests, researching and resolving customer pricing discrepancies, and providing auditing/reporting support for analyzing ROI and custom contract compliance, in support of the US Sales organization. This individual is also responsible for creating win-win relationships with customers and internal partners as this is the cornerstone for delivering the Carl Zeiss Vision (CZV) promise of world class optical products and services.
1. Review and process customer onboarding workflows through Salesforce.com.
2. Determine appropriateness and alignment of customer program requests using established templates and delegation of authority matrix.
3. Conduct margin analyses, secure approvals from Senior Management and work with Legal and Sales teams to create custom agreement requests for the company and its customers.
4. Track, monitor and report on the status of buying group and individual custom agreement requests in process, and post activation.
5. Create special reports and services using SQL, Access, Excel, etc.
6. Ability to create weekly and monthly reports in both spreadsheet and PowerPoint formats, to support ROI reviews.
7. Participate on project teams to develop / enhance commercial programs and information systems
8. Troubleshoot customer account setup errors and issues, and coordinate with internal resources to correct the issues (including calculating credits owed, and submitting credit requests)
9. Perform additional responsibilities as required

You should have:

1. BS in Economics, Statistics, Business Info Systems, Finance or related field
2. Minimum 3 years related professional level experience in a corporate office environment
3. Optical industry experience preferred
4. Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
5. Must have intermediate Excel, analytical, math and statistical data analysis skills
6. Knowledge of, and familiarity with SAP,CRM, DVI, etc. desired
7. Familiarity with SQL, Salesforce.com preferred
8. Must have high attention to detail and proven organization / planning / communication skills
9. Ability to lead projects and coordinate with other departments
10. Possess outstanding interpersonal relationship skills
