Aftermarket Client Specialist

Responsible for the sales growth of Aftermarket products and services including Software Maintenance Agreements, Calibration, Software, Training, Styli and Accessories.
Sell to existing Customer base with Zeiss machines & software in a defined sales region.
Responsible for driving revenue in assigned sales region and assisting with other sales regions as directed by Inside Sales Manager.

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:

  • Achieve monthly & yearly sales quotas in multiple Aftermarket products and services.
  • Create Action Plan of how to accomplish sales quotas in assigned sales region.
  • Develop solid sales techniques using the Zeiss Sales Process.
  • Responsible for attainment of yearly SMART objectives.
  • Make multiple Outbound Calls daily to current Zeiss Customers in assigned sales region.
  • Ask Questions, Listen, and Verify Customer Information and Needs.
  • Educate the Customer on the benefits of Zeiss bundles Products and Services.
  • Explain Zeiss pricing Policies, Incentives, and Sales Promotions.
  • Provide Product Information as required.
  • Respond promptly to Customer Inquiries received directly via Phone, Email or forwarded by other Zeiss departments.
  • Generate accurate Quotes, follow up on Quotes in a timely manner, and Close Orders.
  • Submit Orders for processing to Customer Care with complete and accurate information.
  • Document Customer, Contact, Machine & Software information in Database/CRM.
  • Cooperate with other Zeiss departments including Field Sales, Service, Deployment, Customer Care, Applications, Marketing, Billing and Collections as required.
  • Fulfill assigned tasks & complete special projects as directed by Inside Sales Manager.

You are:

  • 3-5 years of experience in high volume Inside Sales with proactive customer contact.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Experience with Contact Management Software preferred (i.e. Act!, Goldmine, Outlook).
  • Previous formal sales training desired.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Metrology & CMM’s a plus.
