Sales Support Specialist

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for following Customer Center procedures, guidelines and productivity requirements related to inbound calls, mail inquired, after sale customer care program and telephone market surveys. Fulfill field sales’ quotation and literature requests. Help to create a teamwork environment within the department, interfacing regularly with Field Sales Representatives, Marketing, Order Entry and Customer Service.

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:

• Maintain currency of, and adhere to applicable GMP and ISO 9001 processes and procedures. Abide by state and federal employment laws.
• Asist the digital sales team in the sales process and managing leads
• Support the digital sales team in performing demos and answering clinical questions
• Perform customer calls for initial engagement
• Drive adoption within current practices
• Provide remote training/support as needed
• Follow policies and procedures, database procedures, scripts and reference manuals.
• Respond to requests and issues via inbound calls and mail regarding proprietary software of Carl Zeiss Meditec Digital Innovation; distribute leads to field sales representatives
• Provide telephone follow-up to customers approximately 45 days after product is installed.
• Fulfill requests from field sales for customer quotations to be produced and mailed/faxed along with corresponding literature.
• Triage customer calls.
• Interact with other departments in a cordial manner.

You are:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
• Professional telephone skills.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to follow through; attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment; demonstrated ability to establish rapport with customer, colleagues and management.
• Self-motivated, ability to work unsupervised.
• Proficient with personal computer, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to assimilate and comprehend product specification in relation to application of product to end- user.
