We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:

Concept development with new technology, new components and/or new processing platform
- Fast prototyping with demo boards, breadboards or fast PCBA, for feasibility study and Technology Readiness Level evaluation.

Component level electronics development:
- Define and generate electronics related requirements in the Component Requirement Specification (CRS), derived from System Requirement Specification (SRS).
- Carries out electronic hardware, firmware/embedded software and FPGA design, based on the CRS.
- Compose the EE related part in the Component Design Notes (CDN).
- Compose and maintain the EE part of the Interface Control Documents (ICD).
- Generate HW design outputs, such as drawings for PCBAs and cable assemblies, gerber data, etc.
- Coordinate hardware prototyping with sourcing colleagues
- Execute EE related component/unit tests, contribute to the EE part of the Component Verification Test Report (CVTR)
- Support the system level verification, including EMC and safety test.
- Perform firmware/embedded software bug fix, update and release, maintain source code in version control system.
- Contribute to the IEC 62304 and cybersecurity related documentation.

Component design transfer to manufacturing:
- Define Test Specification for PCBAs/modules.
- Develop test fixture and tooling software, if necessary.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer to define Manufacture Process Instruction (MPI) and Test Instruction (TI) for the component
- Support trouble shooting in the assembly line, during PES phase and Pilot Production phase.

Generate Engineering Change Request (ECR), participate in Change Control Board meeting, and execute Engineering Change Order (ECO)

You are:

  • Bachlor’s degree or master’s degree in electronics or mechatronics, or similar engineering disciplines.
  • 3 ~5 years of relevant industry experience, for junior title
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, for senior title
  • Candidate must have experience in both hardware design and firmware/embedded software development.
  • Experience in cameras, embedded image/video processing devices is preferred
  • Experience in robotics, precision motion control system is preferred
  • Experience in multi-cultral/multi-lingual working environment is highly preferred
  • Proficient with EDA tools such as Cadence, Altium Designer, Pulsonix, and IDE tools such as KEIL-MDK, Eclipse.
  • Hands-on experience in the EE laboratory set-ups, testing and design of experiments.
  • Strong ability to work with other engineering groups, project managers, external development partners and vendors.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a HUGE plus!
