The ZEISS Digital Partners unit based in Munich, Oberkochen and Jena is realizing cutting-edge customer-centric digital solutions jointly with the Segments of the ZEISS Group.

Your role at ZEISS Digital:

You will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Data Analytics and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation at ZEISS. In this challenging leadership function, you will shape and ensure data quality standards for further data enablement of the whole ZEISS organization. As a Data Quality Lead at the Zeiss Digital Partners, you are part of our Data & Analytics team and join the vibrant Zeiss data community. You lead a team of data quality analysts to facilitate scalable use of our data management infrastructure. You will be part of cross-functional project teams that deliver hands-on business value to our different business groups across ZEISS.

You have:

  • An excellent university degree, preferably computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, paired with a passion for data and its visualization
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in master data, content, reference and product data management
  • A deep understanding of extracting valuable information from data and the steps needed to get to harmonized data pipelines
  • Experience in working in agile teams with the ability to create actionable outcomes
  • Experience in working along existing data governance frameworks with responsibility for data quality such as DAMA, DCAM etc.
  • Expertise in Cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, Spark-based data transformation (e.g. Databricks) and database systems (SQL and No-SQL)
  • A solid understanding of data engineering and Machine Learning technologies
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Experience with python and autoML is a plus
  • A talent for analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English and advanced German language skills
