The Global Quality Team supports and advises all our process partners in the continuous development of our quality process and standards.

Your role

As a trainee you will be part of a dynamic team working on new solutions that will shape the future. Together with this team, you aim to make the world of eye care professionals even better than today. You will have full responsibility in all regulatory compliance topics and drive respective projects right from the start.

Our customers expect that our products and services meet all legal and normative requirements in all countries in which we develop, produce commission, and maintain. This is one of our value contributions in shaping innovations, generating business impact, and influencing the market position of ZEISS Vision Care. You will learn and work in an international environment to improve our processes and tools as well as qualifying and consulting our employees.

The Global Graduate Program will provide opportunities for you to learn and grow into the challenging role as a regulatory affairs manager. Taking into account your individual strengths and background as well as specific requirements for your future role, several assignments that are sited in different teams, functions, regions and businesses at ZEISS will be combined to make the program as beneficial as possible for you. Within the program, you will have a great opportunity to acquire unique and necessary experience and to build a strong, resilient global network across the ZEISS Group – use this program as the starting point for your career at ZEISS!

After 15 months you will be ready to take over a challenging role within our Global Quality Team and continue to help us to create customer success through market shaping innovations.

Your profile

  • Above-average university degree in a scientific, medicine or medical technology discipline
  • Maximum of three years' professional experience
  • Experience in international regulations (MDR)
  • Ideally an affinity for medical devices and knowledge of optometry as well as for
  • digital applications and processes
  • Enthusiasm for working in an agile environment
  • Strong collaborative and teamworking skills, structured and results-oriented working methods
  • Willingness to work flexibly at different locations around the world
  • Experience abroad is a plus
  • High level of communication skills – very good knowledge of English and German
