The ZEISS Digital Partners unit based in Munich, Oberkochen and Jena is realizing cutting-edge customer-centric digital solutions jointly with the Segments of the ZEISS Group.

Your role:

You will play a crucial role in driving ZEISS’s digital transformation by building and managing our Digital Partnership Centre. You will drive our core strategic tech and innovation partnership with Microsoft to maximise business impact, and you will support the ZEISS business units in forging new partnerships. In both, you will work closely with our businesses to ensure that ZEISS achieves its digital and platform business ambitions.

Integrated into a team that acts across functions and businesses you will…
  • build and manage our Digital Partnership Centre: Be the main contact for forging new digital partnerships across ZEISS; Consult the business units on how to partner best; Drive the process; Ensure best partnering practices are shared across the organisation
  • be the primary business contact for our strategic partnership with Microsoft: Drive the alignment of product and technology roadmaps and manage the overarching joint project roadmap; Steer our joint communication identifying relevant topics; Prepare senior management meetings and workshops; Make the partnership’s success transparent internally and increase its reach

You have:

  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position where you gathered strong experience in digital partnership management (no pure supplier relationships
  • A strong digital business mindset and broad knowledge of platform and traditional business models
  • Excellent project management skills and a high aspiration for quality
  • A self-motivated and self-driven working approach contributing in teams and taking responsibility
  • Strong communication skills to easily navigate in corporate as well as “geeky/nerdy” environments (across all levels of the organization)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Fluent language skills in German and English
