Quality and Certification Engineer (m/f/x)

In this role you have the chance to develop new, innovative product solutions for wafer inspection in the semiconductor industry as part of a system integration team.

You will

  • work on the electrical and mechanical design of complex electron microscopes on a system and module level
  • lead the quality, reliability and safety requirements and ensure that the developed systems comply with regulatory standards (CE, SEMI)
  • own the certification and documentation process as well as safety and regulatory compliance for new developments and supplier components
  • provide technical leadership in system integration, testing and verification

You have

  • a university degree (preferably Masters, PhD is a plus) in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • practical experience in the development of complex production or metrology systems for industrial applications
  • proven experience with product certificaction processes (CE, CSA, SEMI), EMC testing and product conformity
  • knowledge of the handling of lab equipment and the usage of measurement tools (oscilloscopes, signal generators, environmental testing tools)
  • the ability to work hands-on with other R&D functions on metrology tools and how to make them work
  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English, command of German is a plus
