System Integration and Support Engineer (m/f/x) Data Management Systems

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new. You will:

  • Perform on site support for special issues, installations and customers
  • Develop, evaluate and implement integration solutions for 3rd party medical devices into our Carl Zeiss Meditec Data Management Systems on base of given products and furthermore migrate strategies for data between 3rd party HIS / EMR systems and solutions on base of given products.
  • Work very closely with end customers on planning and implementing integration and migration solutions as well as provide the documentation. You will also be responsible for on-site end to end testing.
  • Act as focal point for end customers regarding technical implementation of integration and migration solutions during the implementation phase.
  • Support and train the 2nd Level Service regarding integrations and migrations, maintenance and service as well as in service escalations.

You have:

  • A degree in Software Engineering or a comparable educational background combined with at least two years of experience in integrating healthcare systems
  • Experience with Windows as operating system and as well as advanced networking technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Routing, Firewalls)
  • Programming skills, especially in C#
  • Basic knowledge in cyber security controls, DICOM and HL7 as well as in related databases (MySql or other RDBMS)
  • Furthermore, advanced SQL knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in communication servers (e.g. Mirth) as well as project management skills
  • The ability to work in a team, a hands-on mentality and willingness to help solve our customers’ inquiries
  • English and preferably also German language skills
