Your role at ZEISS Digital Partners

Shape the digital future of ZEISS – at speed and for scale, living the cloud and API first paradigm! As a E-Commerce Software Architect at Digital Customer Interaction, Architecture & Analytics Team, you will be responsible for our digital customer interaction solutions – driving their day-to-day success. Working with multiple cross functional teams of Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Analytic Experts, and Engineers you will:
  • Design, drive, and PoC our next generation of digital business and omnichannel e-commerce solutions
  • Support and guide the development team by your hands-on coding skills, and by providing guidelines such as tech radars
  • Iterate, apply, and spread ZEISS group wide guidelines and support for relevant solution architecture
  • Exchange with architects from different segments and ensure e-commerce architecture is fitting to the wider landscape

Your profile

  • Effective communication skills to easily navigate in corporate business as well as technical environments
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position, where you gathered strong experience in e-commerce software engineering and e-commerce mechanisms to be able to bring a technical point of view into strategic discussions
  • A cloud native mindset with a strong experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications
  • Strong hands-on coding skills preferably in one of the following: Java, TypeScript/React/node.js, Golang, Python, .NET
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and preferably fluency in German
