This role will drive long-term quality and reliability improvements for XRM products. The candidate will be responsible for executing elements of the Quality Management System (QMS) including, but not limited to, new product introduction, coordinating the implementation of laws, regulations and standards (e.g., CE Mark), developing reliability improvement plans, performing audits and improving the QMS. As assigned, the engineer will manage QMS improvement projects. The candidate will interface with internal personnel as well as suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

 Develop long term reliability improvement plans for manufacturing and suppliers
 Perform root cause analysis on product and process nonconformances
 Participate on cross-functional teams in the development of new product introduction (NPI) or improvements to current products
 Coach, mentor, support and provide project management oversight to XRM personnel regarding QMS processes (e.g., FMEA, CAPA, SCARs, PDCA, etc.).
 As needed, help perform design of experiments to validate product/process improvements
 Perform periodic review of laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CE Mark)
 Perform gap analysis and develop plans to address identified gaps
 Perform internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance to laws, regulations, and standards and support external audits
 Maintain records for various elements of the Quality Management System
 Perform other tasks as required by management

You are:

BA or BS degree in a technical field, MS preferred

• 5+ years of industry experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and experience with applicable laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CE Mark, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RoHS, etc.)
• Six Sigma (e.g., black belt) preferred
• Experience performing reliability analysis to implement quality improvements
• Experience using FMEA to implement quality improvements
• Experience working with suppliers to implement part quality improvements
• Experience with imaging systems a plus

• Good computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively contribute to a team environment
• Ability to evaluate technical specifications and drawings
• Ability to learn new software applications and processes as required
• Ability to handle the fast-paced, ever-changing demands of a growing high-tech company
