Trainee in our Research & Development Project Team (f/m/x)

Jena

You want to do exciting work and assume responsibility for your own projects starting from day one – all geared to a clear target role? Then join our 15-month Global Graduate Program as of October 1st 2021 and shape the future of ZEISS.

Have you made a call with your mobile phone today? Taken a picture using your digital camera? Or sent an e-mail from your laptop? These everyday applications are based on the functionality of microchips.

Our goal is to enable the chip industry to achieve unique successes. Thus, with a wide range of products the ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology segment covers a variety of key processes in the production of microchips. As developers and manufacturers of semiconductor production equipment, we are the technological leader in this branch of the semiconductor industry. The bulk of all microchips is produced with the aid of our technologies.

For the nanoelectronics of tomorrow, we continuously confront the challenge of pushing technological limits and make yesterday’s “impossible” ideas reality today.

Your role

As a trainee you will be an active part of an innovative and dynamic team working on new product development solutions. You will have the chance to create, challenge and brainstorm your ideas and concepts in close collaboration with colleagues from various functions such as Operations, Product Management and Sales across the globe. You will have full responsibility for your own projects right from the start. In that context, digitalization and agile development are key drivers – shaping innovations, generating business impact, and influencing the market position of ZEISS Semiconductor Mask Solutions is all related to understanding and using the opportunities of our products.

The Global Graduate Program will provide opportunities for you to learn and grow into the challenging role of a project manager. Taking into account your individual strengths and background as well as specific requirements for your future role, several assignments that are sited in different teams, functions, regions and businesses at ZEISS will be combined to make the program as beneficial as possible for you. Within the program, you will have a great opportunity to acquire unique and necessary experience and to build a strong, resilient global network across the ZEISS Group – use this program as the starting point for your career at ZEISS!

After 15 months you will be ready to take over a challenging role within the Research and Development Project Team and continue to help us to create customer success through market shaping innovations.
