Senior Electronics Engineer (m/f/x)

In this role you have the chance to develop new, innovative product solutions for wafer inspection in the semiconductor industry as part of a system integration team.

You will

  • develop, modify and test electronic modules for high-end scanning electron microscopes
  • define and specify concepts for the electronic architecture of the complete system
  • be responsible for the developed modules and their seamless integration into the overall system
  • technically lead the electronics team, provide guidance, define design guidelines and make sure they are applied
  • lead and participate in the subsystem integration, testing and validation
  • manage development partners and suppliers and ensure that standards and certifications are met

You have

  • a university degree (preferably Masters, PhD is a plus) in electrical engineering
  • years of experience in the development of electronic systems for multi-disciplinary systems, ideally imaging or metrology systems for the semiconductor industry
  • experience in analog/digital PCB design, FPGA/mC integration, communication concepts (Ethernet, CAN, …)
  • knowledge in at least 2 of the following areas: motion control, scan- and video-systems, low-noise electronics, high voltage, EMC, certification, vacuum control, system automation
  • experience in writing effective requirements and specification documents
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to work and influence in an international and multi-disciplinary matrix organization and you would describe yourself as a independent self-starter
  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English, command of German language is a plus
