The Intern will support Scientists in Clinical Research and Analytics Development.

We are looking for people who are keen to try something new:

• Work and interact with Scientists in Clinical Research & Analytics Development
• Develop and test image processing algorithms
• Create, build, and trouble shoot prototype software
• Characterize, optimize, and document algorithm & prototype performance
• Collect proof-of-concept data using controlled laboratory experiments and compare with predicted results
• Participate in weekly team meetings discussing on-going progress
• Present collection of total work to a larger group of cross-company individuals

You are:

• Student currently enrolled for a master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Biomedical Engineering or similar field
• Available for 6-8 months
• Ability to work independently for periods of time
• Ability to read, understand, and discuss academic journal articles
• Experience coding in Python, C++, Matlab, C# or other languages
• Experience with database creation and management is highly desirable
• Experience with machine learning is desirable
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
