Your Role

As the Head of Sales, Academia, RMS SEA, he/she sets the overall direction both strategically and financially and ensures economic and cultural alignment between local activities and corporate CZ directions, goals, priorities and strategies of the Academic sector. He.she communicates corporate business group goals and strategies and bears responsibility for acting as the ambassador and primary guarantor of customer and employee satisfaction. In order to achieve strategic goals as well as planned revenue and profit targets, in agreement with the Head of Sales & Service, RMS, he/she takes responsibility for developing product positioning, branding, promotional and sales strategies for his territory of responsibility.
• In alignment with the BG / SBU strategy manage the profitability and continued growth of CZ products, services and solutions in order to safeguard and expand the company's market position

• Ensure that the unit locally reflects the vision and cultural requirements of the organisation at a global level

• Manage corporate governance requirements

• Manage, motivate and develop the sates and marketing organisation in accordance with CZ Leadership Behavior

• Actively coach the implementation and use of Customer Relationship Management & Excellence Tools (e.g. CRM, metrics, Maturity Assessment)

• Analyze, predict and continuously monitor market trends; analyze competitive strategies; identify emerging technologies and define business opportunities and provide continuous feedback to the BG / SBU in HQ

• Identify potential new customers, expand "share of wallet" with existing customers

• Develop business strategies for senior level customer accounts

• Develop and support product positioning, branding and promotional strategies

• Maintain and expand a knowledge base on industry, market and competitive environment

Key Qualifications

Education
- Bachelor degree in Science (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or comparable).
- Masters degree in Management preferable.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years, leadership, familiar with Asian culture.
- Good product knowledge of Light Microscope, Electron Microscope, X-Ray.
- Good knowledge to the Academia markets.

Other skills
- Internationality, good business English, basic Chinese recommendable, Malay preferable.
- Conflict Management.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
