Network Security Engineer (m/f/d) 100%

To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a motivated and committed Network Security Engineer 100% in Basel Headquarters as soon as possible.
Your Tasks
- You review the company's needs regarding network security solutions.
- You review the proposed solutions based on network and security requirements.
- You create the network security architectures.
- You draw up the specifications and requirements catalogues.
- You evaluate and install the necessary components.
- You check the analyses of new technologies for operational use.
- You maintain and check the network documentation.
- You review test concepts as well as security and monitoring criteria.
- You assess security threats and take appropriate measures.
- You review the existing security procedures.
- You review the deployment and operating guidelines for communication networks and security components.
your profile
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- You have 4-6 years of experience in a similar position.
- You have detailed expertise in network security architecture, monitoring, IT security and enterprise network solutions.
- You have strong analytical skills and very good networked thinking.
- Ideally, you already have experience in the retail sector.
- You have a strong, flexible and team-oriented personality.
- You speak very good German. You can communicate in English without any problems.
- You have skills in as many of the technologies we use as possible: Firewall (Check Point NGFW), Remote Access/VPN (F5 BIG-IP APM), Loadbalancing (F5 GTM), Basic Network Services and Components (DNS/DHCP/NTP/Webserver), Cloud Services (Azure, GCP), Vulnerability Management (Tenable), Cloud Security Services (Zscaler), Unix Server Administration (Ubuntu and OpenBSD), Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform with Azure DevOps Repos/Pipelines), Routing/Switching (Cisco), IPT (Alcatel), Alarm Server (Newvoice).
