Your tasks
- Operate CMM machines and other lab equipment to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspections and verify tolerances using CMM and other precision measuring tools.
- Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical documentation preferred not mandatory.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports for quality assurance.
- Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis.
- Ensure calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards in all inspection activities.
- Maintain 5s in lab
- Other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Experience in dimensional inspection or CMM operation in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO/VDA/IATF quality standards and inspection procedures
