Your tasks
- • Serve as a strategic HR partner to employees by assisting them with day-to-day people matters.
- • Advise and coach front-line supervision on the consistent application of company policies, employee development practices, corrective action processes, and organizational expectations.
- • Support full-cycle recruiting activities including job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, hiring event participation, applicant communication, and collaboration with hiring managers to meet workforce needs.
- • Assist with onboarding and training activities by coordinating and conducting orientation, supporting training schedules, tracking participation, and partnering with operational leaders to promote workforce readiness and compliance.
- • Own local employer branding initiatives in partnership with corporate to strengthen the company’s employment presence through community engagement, recruiting campaigns, social media coordination, hiring events, and employment marketing efforts.
- • Partner with corporate HR and internal stakeholders to implement HR programs, initiatives, and communications in alignment with company strategy, culture, and compliance requirements.
- • Support employee engagement and retention efforts by helping identify workforce trends, responding to employee concerns, and contributing to initiatives that enhance culture, communication, and overall employee experience.
- • Maintain HR records, reports, and metrics related to staffing, employee relations, training, turnover, and other people-related activities, using data to identify issues and recommend actions to management.
- • Ensure visible HR support across shifts by maintaining scheduled availability to employees on non-traditional work hours, including working one second-shift schedule per month and one night-shift schedule per month to provide direct HR access and support to off-shift employees.
- • Exercise independent judgment and professional discretion in handling sensitive employee matters, prioritizing HR issues, recommending solutions, and escalating complex situations appropriately.
Your profile
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources within manufacturing or automotive industries.
- • PHR Certification.
