Your tasks:
- Lead, coach, and inspire an R&D team, fostering growth and performance
- Drive product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines
- Improve and expand the existing product portfolio in line with market and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate across departments and act as a deputy to the Senior Director R&D on strategic topics
- Support innovation, innovation process strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives
Your profile:
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar)
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing innovation projects
- At least 8 years of experience in an R&D department, ideally in a similar industry
- Strong strategic thinking and broad technical understanding of building technology and water control systems
- Broad cross-functional knowledge (quality, production, marketing, sales) with familiarity in operations, supply chain, and product management
- Intercultural competence and strong communication skills
- Experience in digital product development is a plus
- Fluency in German and English
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
