Your tasks:
- Develop innovative products and production technologies in close collaboration with Product Management, based on customer feedback and product specifications — balancing function, quality, time, and cost
- Take ownership of and continuously improve the assigned product range; support Product Management, production sites, and Sales in product-specific matters
- Create detailed mechanical designs with support from design engineers and CAx experts; experience with CAD-NX is an advantage
- Ensure product quality using modern testing technologies, analyze test data, and implement findings in the final product to meet all technical and regulatory requirements
- Release products and technical documentation in line with our development process
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders across departments
Your profile:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on plastic technology or equivalent
- 4 to 6 years of experience as a product development engineer with a focus on product development, ideally in the field of valves in the plastics processing industry
- Experience in independently managing technical projects
- Clear communication strength
- Good analytical skills and the ability to summarize things and make them understandable for others
- Good spoken and written German and English language skills
