Your tasks
- Pull preventive maintenance on molds and tooling.
- Be able to change out components on ejection plastic molds.
- Ability to use polishing stones and part washers.
- Ability to drive lift truck.
- Able to use Voltmeter and shop equipment.
- Able to use the overhead crane to move molds and components.
- Able to disassemble and reassemble molds etc.
- Must be able to identify tool damage and make minor repairs with assistance from toolmakers.
- Adherence to all-appropriate safety practices and procedures.
- Works closely with Lead and Senior Techs.
- Supports the established Quality Policy
- Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions.

- Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:
- High school graduate, GED or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.
- Strong math skills
- Good team worker
- Technical Skills:
- Computer literate
- Strong math skills
- Mechanical skills
- Ability to use shop equipment
- Knowledgeable of safety, health, environmental, and HR regulations as well as policies and practices
- Physical Requirements:
- Walking – frequently 4-5 hrs.
- Standing – 7 hrs.
- Climbing – occasionally
- Squatting/Stooping – occasionally
- Reaching – occasionally
- Lifting - up to 25# frequently
- Lifting – 25# and over with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift)
- The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures.
- Must wear proper PPE
