Join our Pressure Systems R&D team, dedicated to the design and development of critical infrastructure components such as fittings and regulating valves for the safe and efficient transport of potable water from source to point of use. In this position, you will lead the engineering and development of new solutions within the pressure management product range and oversee technical product lifecycle activities, including performance optimization, design enhancements, and issue resolution for assigned components.

Your tasks:

Tasks
  • Support and continuous improvement of the existing product range
  • Lead and execute small to midsize projects
  • Develop new products according to customer feedback and product specifications, considering function, quality, time, and costs
  • Plan and execute test plans, including designing, building, and testing prototypes
  • Analyze test data and implement findings in the final product
  • Design and develop prototypes using CAD software

Your profile:

Profile
  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or a technical apprenticeship with additional training
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an R&D department and first experience in leading projects independently
  • Pro-active nature who likes to take the initiative and ownership
  • Used to working across teams and departments with the ability to structure and coordinate the project team and different stakeholders
  • Good CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX), experience with MATLAB would be an asset
  • Affinity for project management
  • English and German language skills must be on a professional level
