Summary:
Compiles records and enters production data and reports on volume of production, consumption of raw materials, quality control, and other aspects of production.
This employee exercises discretion and independent judgement in the performance of work directly related to management policies or to the general business operations of the Company or customers. As well as regularly and directly assist a proprietor, manager or exempt administrator or works under only general supervision while executing special assignments or performing specialized or technical work requiring special training, experience and/or knowledge. In addition, this position spends more than 25% of work time performing administrative duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Works effectively with company personnel, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, time tables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, works and deeds.
· Creates, issues and processes production work orders for the Custom Products Department.
· Closes and files completed work orders.
· Checks order entry for accuracy.
· Follows orders through completion, ensuring that they are processed in a timely matter.
· Develops all production orders.
· Interface with customer service to resolve problems.
· Follow verbal and written instructions as provided by supervisor.
· Provide backup to the Inventory control Manager, Logistics
· Compiles records and maintains production data from such documents as customer orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.
· Calculates factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.
· Writes and distributes daily, weekly, and monthly production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed.
· Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
· Updates and maintains procedure books for production planning.
· Notifies shipping department of available stock to ship and processes all shipments.
· Follow required ISO procedures.

Your profile

- Desired Requirements:
- Associate’s degree, preferred
- One to two years’ experience in an administrative role in a manufacturing environment, a plus
- SAP experience, a plus
- Proficient personal computer skills, familiar with Microsoft Office a plus.
