Your tasks

Tasks
  • Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • 1.Lead the organization towards Operational Excellence by deploying the GF Piping Production System (operational excellence standards) and by creating a culture of continuous improvement and disciplined execution at all GFCN sites and across all manufacturing and supply chain functions, in order to maximize customer experience and financial performance;
  • 2.Lead sustainability team in GFCN in line with given strategy targets and goals;
  • 3.Being full responsible for Risk Management in all related GFCN plant operations;
  • 4.Support business development by ensuring close alignment between commercial needs and operational priorities and execution and by implementing the necessary processes and capabilities across the organization (e.g. S&OP);
  • 5.Deliver the agreed Operational KPIs including but not limited to safety, quality, delivery, productivity, etc.Budget responsibility for own organisations;
  • 6.Lead continuous efficiency improvement / cost savings initiatives to maintain competitive edge and achieve superior financial performance;
  • 7.Actively participate in the regional & global footprint strategy development and lead the implementation of specific footprint optimization projects at regional & company level;
  • 8.Actively participate in the continuous development of GF Piping Systems global standards of operational excellence;
  • 9.Review regularly the operational set-up / status / know-how of individual entities' teams, locations and machinery & equipment and initiate necessary upgrades and improvements (training, automation, process improvements …) and / or new set-up;
  • 10.Implements all relevant internal operational guidelines, legal requirements and external policies;
  • 11.Hire, retain, coach and develop talent and employees;
  • 12.Promote GF culture and values throughout the organization;

  • 12.Technology affinity and curiosity and full dedication to quality;
  • Professional competences:
  • 1.10+ years of experience in leading an operations organization including manufacturing, quality, process engineering, procurement and supply chain in an industrial environment at regional level;
  • 2.Strong experience in Operational Excellence transformation leveraging lean/6 sigma (culture, people, processes, methods);
  • 3.Proven experience in leading complex change activities (e.g. cultural transformation, post-merger integration or turnaround);
  • 4.Brings a strong goal / KPI orientation combined with a solid financial and business knowledge;
  • 5.Experience with footprint optimization is a plus;
  • 6.Experience in leading roles with P&L responsibility within international companies (MNC);
  • Education:
  • Degree in engineering or related technical discipline
