As an Innovation and New Venture Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving and overseeing the innovation initiatives and new business ventures within our organization. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends, disruptive technologies, and customer needs to develop and execute strategies that foster growth, profitability, and competitive advantage. Your expertise in innovation management, business development, and strategic thinking will be key in successfully leading cross-functional teams and cultivating a culture of innovation within our global organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
o Identify emerging market trends, technologies, and business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
o Evaluate and prioritize potential new ventures and partnerships based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial viability.
o Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and milestones, ensuring effective project execution.
Innovation Leadership:
o Foster a culture of innovation by promoting creativity, risk-taking, and cross-functional collaboration.
o Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to generate and develop innovative ideas, products, and services.
o Facilitate ideation sessions, design thinking workshops, and other innovation methodologies to encourage idea generation and problem-solving.
o Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, empowering them to embrace innovation and develop their skills.
Business Development:
o Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and new ventures.
o Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and financial assessments to support business case development.
o Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and finalize business agreements and contracts.
o Monitor and track the performance of new ventures and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to ensure success.
• Project Management:
o Oversee the end-to-end project management process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
o Define project objectives, resource requirements, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.
o Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
o Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting project status, outcomes, and recommendations.
Team Leadership and People Management:
o Provide strong leadership to the reporting team, setting clear expectations, goals, and objectives.
o Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and teamwork among team members.

Your profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in innovation management, new venture development, or a similar role.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
