Your tasks
Provide technical design support for computer modeling of components or used in project planning, development, implementation, and modification; contributes to engineering standards development balancing company and customer needs; research new technology for potential corporate application. The Junior Design Engineer provides administrative engineering support on various projects within the engineering department.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, on design, computer modeling or other utility-related area, preferred
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software to develop models and drawings
- Ability to identify patterns or trends within data
- Ability to read complex plans or diagrams (e.g. blue prints)
- Prior experience in piping design and/or field experience with piping systems highly desirable
- Self-starter/Acts on own initiative making decisions after thorough evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
