We are looking for a highly motivated Master's student to join our team for a Master's thesis project on Deep Learning in Manufacturing. You will work closely with our experienced manufacturing engineers and development team to design and implement Deep Learning algorithms to improve manufacturing processes.

Your tasks

Tasks
  • Conduct research on existing deep learning algorithms and techniques in manufacturing
  • Work with a manufacturing experts and development engineers to implement existing deep learning models for manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the models in improving product quality, reducing defects, and enhancing productivity
  • Analyze and interpret data gathered from deep learning models and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure timely completion of the project

Your profile

Profile
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science or a related field
  • Background in machine learning and deep learning algorithms
  • Proficiency in programming in Python
  • Familiarity with software tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
  • Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Languages German or English
