Your tasks
- Working closely with business stakeholders as an IT partner to gather and align their needs & requirements
- Capture, assess, evaluate and prioritise IT demands based on their strategic value, potential impact, fit to the reference architecture, data privacy, IT security and available resources
- Manage and maintain the IT demand portfolio
- Translate business needs/requirements into clear and actionable project descriptions that can be understood by IT teams
- Design end-to-end IT solutions in alignment with GF’s Business and IT strategy
- Assess and evaluate existing systems and technologies and propose appropriate new technologies, tools, frameworks and solutions
- Identify integration points, define interfaces and design data flows to ensure seamless communication within IT solutions
- Create and maintain IT solution documentation including architectural principles, system architecture diagrams, design specifications, implementation guidelines and best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor, provide guidance on technology solutions, manage expectations and foster collaboration
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, provide guidance and clarification
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the implemented solutions, gather feedback and propose optimizations to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of the solution architecture including requirements to data privacy and information security
- Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the solution
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement within existing solutions and processes
Your profile
- Academic degree related to IT or similar qualification
- 5+ yrs. experience as an IT solution engineer/architect
- Experience within enterprise architecture and/or data architecture is a plus
- Strong focus to push standardization and harmonization
- Demonstrated experience in the designing/developing of IT solutions for business applications in comparable companies/industries
- Ability to prioritize and to work independently, flexible, efficiently and target oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex IT issues in a way that is appropriate for the target group and to win others - fluent in German and English
- Project Management experience preferred
- Enthusiastic team player who is keen to shape IT actively and feels comfortable in a dynamic environment.
