Main Tasks

  • Implement and supervise all inbound inventory and RMA procedures as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Inform employees that process RMA’s of the importance of completing them on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain control of the open RMA’s, keeping the open RMA’s to a minimum.
  • Update inbound Return logs on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and process all GF Machining Solutions credit memorandums.
  • Coordinate the communication between Rhenus, Customers, Service Engineers, the Lab Technician, or the Regional Service Manager to resolve any RMA and/or credit issues.
  • Scrap and close all GF Machining Solutions RMA’s in Great Plains weekly.
  • Manage and assist with all vendor returns material including consumables.
  • Create monthly HUB invoices. Track and match credits from the HUB.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the Operations Department.
  • Expedite closure of outstanding RMA’s.
  • Process monthly HUB spare part returns to Switzerland.
  • Weekly monitoring of RMA’s without reason codes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training; preferably in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous logistics supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP, Great Plains, or similar software systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as processes and procedures, financial documents, and specific service reports and documents. Effectively communicate ideas, both written and verbal, to customers, management, or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematical concepts such as such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
