Your tasks

  • The Talent will be supporting Industrial Solutions (IS) sales activities in Singapore by promoting GF's solutions and services into the market with the goal to establish GF's market position as preferred piping systems solution supplier
  • He/She will achieve sales and margin targets in Singapore for IS market segment (Microelectronics, ME/Chemical, Chem)
  • Identify & forecast sales potential for IS market and be accountable for sales target. Monitor and evaluate the development / behaviour of key players (GF customers inclusive of end customers, consultants, designers, competitors…) in Singapore and translate into marketing strategies and tangible sales.
  • Proactively maintain good network with existing customers by understanding their needs and proposed targeted GF solutions to expand overall sales potential.
  • Proactiviely creating new business prospect and / or new business opportunity.
  • Work closely with operations team to address customer service issues and involve in stocks forecast.
  • Maintain sales activity in CRM by updating customer data, planning of visits, generating of sales visits report and updating of projects status timely.

Your profile

  • Sales and/or technical experience (minimium 4 to 5 years) with excellent knowledge of IS (ME/Chem) industry
  • For senior position, at least 5 years of sales experience in achieving or exceeding sales targets in ME/Chem-related markets; prior sales experience in related products (e.g. pumps, valves, instruments, etc) for similar industries will be considered
  • Prior experience in project sales in ME/Chem-related industries would be a bonus
  • Possess a strong understanding of the expectations and requirements of the ME/Chem industry
  • Good network and relationships with key players in the ME/Chem industry
  • Ambitious and possess a "hunter" mentality; always on the look-out for sales opportunities and willing to prospect with the right stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (internally and externally) with strong team player approach.
  • Proficient in project management with service focus.
