We, the legal department of GF, are a cross locational team with lawyers located in Switzerland, the Unites States and Mainland China. We are committed to helping GF organizations navigate and manage a diverse range of complex issues and business challenges.
We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Regulatory Compliance Counsel 80%-100% (m/f/d) for our Corporate Headquarter in Schaffhausen in a permanent role. Your tasks

  • Deal with existing regulations and planned regulatory initiatives of Switzerland, the European Union and its member states and prepare and accompany their implementation in the daily business of the Georg Fischer divisions and its companies
  • Deep analysis of such regulations and ordinances and their drafts, the definition of the measures to be derived from them for the Georg Fischer Corporation and the drafting and, if necessary, communication of the corresponding internal rules (globally applicable corporate directives and instructions)
  • Direct report to the Corporate Compliance Officer of Georg Fischer based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland

Your profile

Profile
  • Fully qualified lawyer (including bar exam)
  • Profound experience (approximately 5 years or more) and convincing track record in the regulated industrial environment
  • High level of technical competence and ability to convey even complex issues in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and to present their practical implications for day-to-day business in a concise and accurate manner
  • Excellent - also technical - German and English language skills, both written and spoken; any other additional language is an advantage
  • Experienced in internet research and confident in using the programs of the MS Office package
