Your tasks
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, content owners and other stakeholders to identify learning goals and learning outcomes for online learning experiences.
- Design and develop online learning experiences that align with learning outcomes, apply research-based learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in online learning environments.
- Use online learning authoring tools to build online learning experiences that include assessments, interactive activities, animated videos, graphics and images, and text-based content.
- Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of learners.
- Maintain knowledge of new developments in learning science, learning design, and learning technologies.
- Assess for gaps in training material and make recommendations for enhancements
- Develop a logical and consistent structure for training material embedded in an efficient data model to minimize maintenance efforts and to handle all channels optimally
- Keep track of upcoming expirations to ensure documents stay in compliance and manage them through the approval process in our Documents Control Systems
- Ensure that all data and work is legally compliant (e.g. copyright protection)
- Create Instructional Design guides and training material
- Create storyboards, scripts, scenarios, screencasts, simulations, modules, videos, quizzes, etc. for self-paced delivery via Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone OnDemand + Articulate 360)
Your profile
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field (eg: instructional design, organizational development, business transformation, change management) and/or proven experience
- Portfolio of learning experiences and assets, including; storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, assessments, etc.
- Extensive experience with LMS and LXP
- Extensive experience with authoring tools, especially with Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially with problem solving, persuasion, and influence
- Data and digital literacy
- Solid project management skills including planning cross-functional work, handling timelines, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, and working to keep stakeholders advised
- Self-motivated to acquire knowledge and skills on new products, procedures, and technologies
- Validated work experience with career progression in the field of instructional design, talent development, or performance transformation, including meaningful experience in designing and delivering learning solutions to large organizations.
- Experience with text to speak AI engines
- Proficient with Adobe creative cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Functional knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience in multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation
- Experience with emerging trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, xAPI)
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Candidate must be willing to work at Taman Perindustrian Air Hitam, Klang
