Your tasks
- Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with planning, implementing and controlling the operations of the supply chain. Responsible for procuring components, fabricated parts, tools, operating supplies and for accuracy and variances with Inventory. And oversees the warehouse team to meet on-time delivery expectations.
Your profile
- Creates plans, organizes, directs and controls activities of Supply Chain Program and logistics cost to determine present and future material availability and streamline stocking levels.
- Builds a strong supplier base to evaluate and qualify suppliers to ensure quality, price, delivery and service expectations. Negotiates supplier prices and agreements.
- Develops, reviews and approves supplier contracts and audits. Controls purchase price variances. Coordinates procurement representation for new product development including proto-typing and product costing.
- Controls raw material and supplier inventory levels, considering on-time delivery requirement and company net working capital objectives.
- Prepares a department budget and sets objectives. Investigates and provides material status updates.
