Main Tasks

- Promotes the products of Lifecycle & Customer Services, such as Preventative Maintenance Contracts, Extended Warranty Agreements, Advanced Calibration Services, Laser, rConnect, Step-Tec, NADCAP, consumables, and related items.
- Ensure account management activities are met, including but not limited to; answering inbound calls providing customers with quotes for products and services, processing quotes to orders, sales requests, and status updates. Keeps customers informed on delivery status, backorders, and past-due shipments and returns.
- Maintain individual contact records in MS CRM indicating pertinent discussion details that may affect future follow-up calls.
- Contact current and prospective customers in designated market areas through customer lists, business directories, the internet, and other sources to qualify leads and explain products and services offered.
- Develop an accurate list of prospects from directories, trade and professional association publications, the internet, and other public information.
Minimum Requirements

- Associate’s Degree and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior direct or inside sales in a manufacturing or industrial experience are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Great Plains, ACT, and MS CRM or similar software programs is helpful.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as processes and procedures, technical journals, and legal, financial, and sales documents.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, interest, and volume. Ability to apply fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

This position may occasionally require the employee to travel to customer sites, trade shows, or other company locations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
