Main Tasks

- Develop and implement a successful sales strategy to align with corporate goals and achieve objectives. Analyze and monitor sales forecast activity and profit margin performance and promptly make necessary changes to achieve goals consistent with the Region and Company objectives.
- Create action plans to penetrate new markets and cultivate customer relationships. Take a primary role in the sales efforts to acquire key prospects and secure the order.
- Support critical customer situations and liaison with Service and Application staff to obtain the best solutions to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Provide customer/dealer / manufacture (OEM) support, including sales, installation, technical backup, regular follow-up visits, education, and overall regional territory analysis.
- Establish professional relationships within the industry and partner with customers to understand further and anticipate their needs.
- Prepare periodic budget and sales reports showing volume and performance in the region. Complete other reporting duties consistent with the Regional Sales Manager position.
- Conduct seminars and attend trade shows promoting System 3R as the leader in the industry.
- National and international travel to GF Machining Solutions and System 3R locations, trade shows, and customers is required regularly to cultivate internal and external relationships.
Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in sales or business; four to six years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior sales management experience, preferably in an engineering, tooling/automation, and/or machine tool environment.
- Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger and handle, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position will require the employee to regularly travel to customer sites, trade shows, or other company locations domestically and internationally.
- Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
