Your tasks
- Support of our Global Business Developers & Venture Architecs in the area of identification and validation of new buisness oppertunities including, market overview, market potential, competitor overview, competitive business models, best practice examples
- Conduct customer and internal interviews to understand full market potential of new business oppertunities
- Independently drive working packages in the area of identification and monitoring of market trends
- Evaluation of new market opportunities in an early stage and enabling fast decision making for further exploration
- Developing of holistic Business Model innovation concepts including value proposition, target customer, revenue model and value chain together with the project teams.
- Leverage customer centric design and innovation methods to identify and validate new ideas and resolve critical uncertainties in an interactive process
- Closely collaborate with Sustainabiliy, Business Development, Digital Transformation, Product Management, Operations, Sales and other R&D groups
- Taking care of general organizational and administrative tasks within the New Ventures team
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master's studies, preferably in Business Administration, Business Innovation, Strategy and International Management, Industrial Engineering, Digital transformation or any related fields
- Experience with Innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking or agile methodologies is a plus
- Strong interest in business modeling, innovation and prototyping
- Previous work experience in innovation agencies, consulting, startups or corporate innovation is a plus
- Fluent in English (oral and written), plus any other European language
- Very good working experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, esp. Power Point and Excel
- Enjoying collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across the globe
- Self-driven, well organized and independent curious and willing to think beyond the status quo
- Curious, patient and creative mind with good communication skills
- Flexibility to travel internationally
- Work permit for Switzerland and/or EU
- Work pensum: 80%- 100%
