Your tasks

- Plans, leads, trains and coordinates the maintenance and improvement of the processes and procedures surrounding EHS reporting.
- EHS team leadership. Manage direct reports. Recruit for open positions, as needed.
- Liaise with inter-company professionals for cross-site audits, regular reporting processes, and government/agency parties for effective and accurate reports and follow up. Review critique and approve reports prepared by others for same.
- Review CAPEX applications for EHS concerns. Preparation of ergonomic assessments, job safety analysis, and injury investigations and reporting when needed.
- Assist with implementing and maintaining a system that supports LEED gold or platinum status. Flex schedule to supervise activities that cannot be done during normal business hours.
- Monitor Hazardous Materials related processes, recycling and scrap metal activities.
- Ensure full compliance with RCRA and DOT regulations, CUPA/CERS. Support of the ISO 14000 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Development of training materials.
Your profile

- Associate's degree in business or engineering and/or equivalent work experience, required.
- Two-year College or technical school; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Develops priorities, goals, controls, and metrics to drive action and maintain improvements. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
