What's the role?
We are looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental Process Manager. In the role, your proactive approach with stakeholders at all levels will contribute to making our HSE mindset an integral part of Hilti’s corporate culture.
This position will be based in Paris, France or Schaan, Liechtenstein. Other EU locations possible. Please state your preferred location in your application.

What does the role involve?
As an HSE Process Manager, you act as a main contributor in bringing the HSE mindset to life. You ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to management systems, risk assessments, audits, accident and incident investigations and compliance with legislation and company policies. You will collaborate the Global HSE Manager.

Your main tasks will include:


Advising local management and steering committees on HSE issues, all the while ensuring compliance with Group regulations
Supporting the global HSE Manager in leading the global HSE committees (meetings, reports)
Follow-up on HSE audits, prepare action plans and track progress
Further development and support the enforcement of Group-wide HSE policy, standards, procedures and guidelines
Creating and organizing workshops and training content for relevant stakeholders, including management
Supporting the development, implementation and evaluation of various HSE roadmaps for a matrix organization, as well as communication on HSE topics
Monitoring HSE performance and reporting to management and stakeholders, including supporting the development and recording of HSE-related targets and key figures.

What you need is:
  • University degree or diploma in Engineering or natural sciences, with at least one subsequent HSE-specific training (occupational safety officer, environmental officer, manager for ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an international HSE environment, including knowledge of applicable HSE legal requirements; experience in implementing / maintaining management systems in accordance with ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018.
  • Strong communication, organization and stakeholder management skills; willingness and demonstrated ability to work in a in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English required; German or other languages are an advantage.
