We are looking for an experienced IT Product Owner for Core Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling). As the IT Product Owner, you will drive the area with IT & Business counterparts to improve and digitize customer experience as well as add new value propositions for our customers & users. You will ensure the area’s economic success, in close collaboration with your global business stakeholders & development team, you will drive activities for grooming, implementation and operation of your product. Your innovative mindset will help to enable business excellence and customer satisfaction through value-adding global IT solutions.

What does the role involve?
As an IT Product Owner, you are accountable for respective IT Solution fall under area Core Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling) where you need to Plan, Build and Run the complete solution which fits to our IT landscape and provide operational excellence to our respective business. Hence, you’ll identify and analyze business requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on business needs and strategic requirements. You are responsible to define the roadmap together with the business team and accordingly work on our SAP system landscape towards S/4HANA for Finance & Controlling processes. You own every outcome, decision and activity related to solution for which the scope is defined. Decisions are prepared and actions taken based on deep understanding of Hilti Business Model, specific product area and corresponding IT strategy & guidelines. Furthermore, you’ll be managing stakeholder relations, take decisions based on financial benefits & business impact with that prioritize the backlog, able to create user stories for functional and non-functional requirements, run demos and basic trainings and own the support process. Additionally, you will be expected to work on agile approach for delivering fast results. You will be expected to coach juniors in the area so that they can work independently soon. Lastly, you will profit from your functional & technical experience in the areas; Finance (General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Controlling), interfaces with external systems (Blackline, Business Object Finance Consolidation, Tagetik, etc), comprehension of Order to Cash (OtC) process, and debugging skills in ABAP will be plus advantage.
