What's the role?
In this challenging and exciting position, you will contribute to the development and implementation of global logistics solutions. You will collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and maintenance of logistics services, standards, and processes. You will act as a project champion to drive innovative and cross-functional initiatives that improve Customer experience and deliver operational excellence for our Fleet Program, all while being a part of Hilti’s Global Logistics organization.

What does the role involve?
In this position you lead and work in a cross-functional environment to develop, pilot and implement the rollout and maintenance of logistics services as part of Hilti Logistics’ Fleet Program. You have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders, which often includes key logistics functions such as Warehousing and Transportation, as well as with non-logistics functions such as IT and Hilti’s Digital Teams. Your strong analytical and conceptual mindset will enable you to develop a global market understanding (competitive intelligence, customer needs) to develop our Logistics Fleet Program in line with our global logistics 2030 strategy. Working with global process and service managers, you will ensure an effective end-to-end process flow, by developing and owning the standards and processes for Fleet and other services to ensure they are sustainable and operate at a high level. As a Global Process Manager, you will own, train and support regional service managers on operational Fleet topics, service innovation practices, and the logistics Top Customer approach.

What you need is:
  • Master’s degree (supply chain, engineering, Marketing, Business or related field)
  • 5+ years working experience in a global company (in areas of logistics, supply chain, production, repair, or project management) with proven operational experience gained in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Marketing of products and services.
  • Previous experience with SAP and proficiency with MS office applications (preferred).
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills coupled with strong project management knowledge and understanding, including experience documenting processes and applying change management practices.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with proven track record of managing ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and navigating complex business challenges using an agile mindset.
  • High degree of commitment and eagerness to learn with the ability to work in a structured, self-motivated, and independent method.
  • Acute attention to detail while maintaining focus on the bigger picture, cross-functional and global operational view.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills to all external/internal customers, peer groups and upper management
  • Experience in LEAN (preferred)
  • International experience (preferred)
  • Open and willing to travel for business (approx. 15-25% of working time).
  • Fluent in English
