What's the role?
As the Head of Measuring Tools development, you will be shaping the segment roadmap and drive delivery of innovative value-creating solutions to our Customers. This segment represents a sizeable business today and is a significant portion of the overall BU revenues.

What does the role involve?
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cutting-edge tools and technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing the vertical segment, which includes line lasers, rotating lasers, detection systems, thermal and inspection cameras, and distance meters. This means that you will be at the forefront of innovation in these areas, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art products. You will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Development, allowing you to have a significant impact on the direction and success of the segment.
The segment product portfolio is diverse, consisting of a mix of full in-house development, ODM (Original Design manufacturing) as well as OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing). This means that you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to bring innovative products to market.

What you need is:
  • A master’s degree in physics/ mechatronics/ electronics or similar, combined with proven track record in complex cross functional product development projects with a focus on system integration.
  • Familiarity with complex mechatronics systems and embedded electronics.
  • Leadership experience in similar positions.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft directions thanks to strong analytical and communication skills, and business acumen enabling clear and effective decision making through trade-offs.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
